It’s the most important meal of the day and whether you eat it at 2 a.m, 8 a.m. or 1 p.m (with a mimosa), this city loves breakfast. Fried chicken, grits, biscuits and combinations of them all; these are the 7 Southern breakfast dishes to try this weekend!
- Comfy Chicken Biscuit at Home Grown
We’ve all been there; you imbibed a bit too much on bourbon the night before and need food. When that happens, we head straight to Home Grown on Memorial. Go straight to the counter; order a strong cup of coffee and the Comfy Chicken Biscuit. What you’ll get won’t be particularly photogenic, but it will be the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. A made from scratch buttermilk biscuit topped with fried chicken and a whole mess of sausage gravy.
- Brisket Bowl at Ria’s Bluebird...
Whern you're at Home Grown go straight
to the counter; ordera strong cup of coffee
and the Comfy Chicken Biscuit.
